Social media has been taken over by couples celebrating Valentine's Day, but we guarantee you'll see nothing cuter (or funnier) today than this cheeky pet pooch.

Carefully positioned next to a flower pot and wearing a very respectable bow-tie, the hand-written sign in front of him reads: "Is there a hottie out there who wants a piece of me tonight?"

We're not sure if this was a tactic by its owners to find a last-minute dog sitter or a light-hearted jibe at the day's festivities, but it sure as hell brought a smile to our faces and we hope it did to yours too!
