Housed within the 17th century Xara Palace Relais & Châteauxis boutique hotel, Mdina fine-dining join ‘de Mondion’ is hands down a staple for any foodies living in Malta.

The restaurant is particularly known for its inimitable take on Mediterranean cuisine, so much so that it was recently awarded a Micheline star.

As if that wasn’t enough praise, yesterday, acclaimed international restaurant guide La Liste placed ranked it amongst the top 600 restaurants around the world.

Yes, you read that right!

Naturally, the de Mondion team was rather stoked the hear the news.

“It’s an honour for us to represent Malta on the list and we’d like to extend our gratitude to all those who have placed their trust in the de Mondion,” the restaurant proudly expressed on social media.
