Chef from Lake Como’s Mandarin Oriental to present stunning menu at Palazzo Parisio
Vincenzo Guarino will host the next instalment of Luna Welcomes the Stars.

Sarah Micallef

Following the success of the exceptional culinary nights by Michelin-starred chefs Paolo Barrale and Michelino Gioia in the last months, Luna Welcomes the Stars at Palazzo Parisio is ready for its fourth instalment, this time with Vincenzo Guarino, Executive Chef at the Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como.

Vincenzo

On 16th November, chef Guarino will prepare a five-course menu that mixes both fish and meat, and includes some of his signature dishes, such as a Mediterranean dish of baccala and chickpeas – a masterpiece that won him an award in 2016. Every dish will be expertly paired with Italian wines.

Vincenzo

Vincenzo Guarino boasts an impressive culinary CV, with 20 years’ experience and a long list of collaborations.

Tuscan restaurant I Salotti at Il Patriarca Hotel was awarded with a Michelin star while he was at the helm in 2009. As Executive Chef at L'Accanto, Grand Hotel Angiolieri, and later Il Pievano at Castello di Spaltenna, chef Guarino helped to ensure that both restaurants were included in the Michelin guide with a star each.

Vincenzo

Today he is Executive Chef at Mandarin Oriental in Lake Como, where he leads a 25-member brigade. His cuisine is simple and authentic, offering traditional Mediterranean recipes with a very personal creative touch. Every dish tells a story through taste, which evokes a private memory and gives life to his vision of creative Mediterranean cuisine.

Call to reserve your table on 21412461 or send an email to [email protected]. Dinner is priced at €120 including wines.

7th November 2019
