The alcohol-free version of Malta’s beloved beer is gaining increasing popularity
At this year's International Beer Challenge in the UK, Malta's Cisk 0.0 alcohol-free lager earned a silver medal in the ‘Low or No Alcohol Beers’ category, putting the spotlight on the island's brewing prowess. The competition, which celebrates exceptional beers from around the globe, saw entries from over 30 countries, ranging from renowned brewing regions to emerging markets.

The judging panel, composed of retailers, importers, brewers, writers, and flavour analysts, carefully evaluated each beer based on appearance, aroma, taste, and finish.
Cisk 0.0 has quickly gained international recognition since its 2021 launch. Just months after its debut, it won a gold medal in the ‘Non & Low Alcohol Beer – Class 1’ category at the 2021 International Brewing and Cider Awards, where it was also named the overall trophy winner across the category’s three classes.
