A wave of nostalgia swept through social media as a Facebook group, ‘Iż-Żurrieq u l-madwar Zurrieq and its surroundings’ shared an interesting photo from 1957.

The image captured children joyfully swinging on a seesaw, situated at the entrance of Tal-Mosti farm along Valletta Road in Imqabba.

The photo instantly transported viewers back to a simpler time, where laughter echoed amidst carefree afternoons. The rustic charm of the farm, coupled with the innocence of childhood, will surely evoke fond memories for many.

This heartwarming glimpse into the past serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving memories and traditions that bind communities together across generations.
