Calling enviro activists! This local club has just launched the Fight Plastic Fund
They’re looking for creative minds to combat this issue.

The Rotary Club La Valette Malta has just launched a fantastic competition fund to flight plastic waste on the Maltese Islands. But what is rotary, you ask? Rotary is a way of life that encourages and fosters the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, and aims to rise to the challenges faced by society... and plastic waste is one of them.

Rotary Club International has long been renowned for its work in society, helping to promote peace, tackle disease, support education, provide clear water, sanitation and hygiene, and grow local economies in the hopes of making communities better.

The competition deets

Rotary Club La Valette Malta in collaboration with Integritas Group has launched a competition to help tackle of one society’s biggest problems, and possibly one of the biggest buzzing topics out there: plastic waste. To this end, the club will fund two €5,000 projects that fight plastic, and applications are now open. You can make that change!

“We have come together as members in the hope of sparking innovation among local society on ways that we can effectively reduce and fight plastic on our island in the months and years to come,” said Rotary Club La Valette Malta spokesperson Frédéric Villa.

The Club has therefore launched a competition to give one individual and one NGO or enterprise start-up the chance to win €5,000 to launch and support their project to combat the plastic issue on the Maltese Islands.
