BRRR! Temperatures with a real feel of 3°C to hit Malta & Gozo from Friday onwards
Winter has finally arrived!

By the end of this week, the Mediterranean cyclone aptly referred to as ‘Thor’ is about to hit the Maltese Islands.

The cyclone is bound to bring with it loads of unstable weather including strong winds, extremely low temperatures, rain showers and even hail.

The local weather station and page, ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ is reporting that temperatures are about to drop significantly. In fact, this coming Friday cool temperatures with a real feel of 3°C are expected throughout the Maltese Islands.

Force seven and eight winds are also predicted so keep an eye out for the Gozo Channel and Gozo Fast Ferry pages if you’re planning to commute as trips may be cancelled.

‘Maltese Islands Weather’ went on to forecast isolated showers for Friday and Saturday with a strong possibility of hail on Sunday.

Other weather social media pages such as ‘Malta Weather’ are not only predicting a huge storm but have went as far as saying that this coming Thursday ‘temperatures that may at times feel as COLD as -1°C’ are highly probable.

How do you feel about the latest weather predictions?
