It has just been announced in press conference with Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Chris Fearne that the first Coronavirus-related death has occurred in Malta.

Fearne has just announced that it is a 92-year-old Gozitan woman who had tested positive for the virus. He shared Coronavirus wasn't the only disease she was battling, one of which being heart-related problems. She was in a vulnerable state, he said. She passed away just over an hour ago at Gozo General Hospital.
