Jesus, take the wheel! It seems Mother Nature will be cranking up the heat (significantly!) next week with feels-like temperatures reaching highs of 37°C! Nghidu flimkien: Il-Mulej maghna.

“Temperatures are expected to increase significantly from this coming weekend across Malta and Gozo and will feel as hot as 37°C at times in the next two week or so as hot air from the Sahara Desert penetrates the central Mediterranean!” Facebook page, The Weather Page Malta shared on social media.

At least the horrid rih isfel isn’t likely to make an appearance next week as mostly westerly and northerly winds are expected, along with plenty of sunshine, high temps and solid UV 9 markers.

Don’t forget to slap on that sunscreen, folks!
