Beep beep! Temporary lanes introduced at Marsa junction
Take note!

Jillian Mallia

If you’ve travelled south, passing through Marsa junction over the past few days, you would have probably experienced delays. (Ugh) This is due to works on the seven flyovers currently being constructed at the busy junction and a reshuffling of lanes.

Temporary distribution of lanes going towards the south of Malta have been introduced and is what has caused a little chaos in this area. Infrastructure Malta has issued a map showing the “temporary southbound diversion lanes opened last weekend from Marsa to Santa Lucija, Luqa and the Malta International Airport,” they said in a Facebook post.

Infrastructure Malta is urging the public to use the diversions until the first two flyovers are complete, supposedly in September. Tip: chose your lane as early as possible to avoid bottlenecks and to help traffic flow smoothly.!

Safe driving, folks!
