Beautifully in ruins: Check out these shots of an old Maltese house in Kalkara
We can only imagine how beautiful it was back in the day.

What a beauty! This old Maltese house (and its ruins) was captured by Maltascapes and shared on socials, bringing back some wonderful nostalgia.

It’s a sad sight to see such a building in shambles but it’s beautiful just the same. And we can only imagine what it was like in all its glory back in the day. Some of the stonework can still be seen, with the door and archway being typically Maltese.

The top part of the door must have had some kind of glass partition that has since fallen off. There’s some kind of carving in one corner and a post box on the side.

Do you recognise the house?
