St George’s Bay will host a family-friendly festival this Sunday, as Beach Fest returns with an evening of entertainment and education.

The free event will take place on 12th July between 6pm and 11pm at St George’s Bay, the only Maltese beach to hold both the Blue Flag certificate, administered by the MTA, and the UK’s Purple Flag accreditation.

Visitors can look forward to a packed programme of activities, including first aid demonstrations, information sessions related to marine life and environmental sustainability, an eco market, a car show, art spaces, and free face painting for children.

The evening will also be musical performances by  Tikka Banda, Owen Leuellen, Dawn Desira, Amelia, Kaya Gurmi, The Subdominants Big Band, Victoria, Kyle George, and Justine Shorfid.
