This is arguably one of the biggest patron feasts of the summer.
Hamrun was a riot of colour, band marches and celebrations last weekend for the town’s much-anticipated feast of San Gejtanu.
Locals took to Hamrun’s main street – St Joseph High Street – wearing red and blue in support of their respective band club – Tat-Tamal and Tal-Miskina. The band marches of both clubs send supporters into a frenzy, creating a vibe that compares to few other feasts on the islands.
