All aboard! O’ Holy Nights Chapel Trail brings festive magic to Malta this December
Performers include the singing sister duos Ceci & Kriss and The New Victorians.
Looking for a Christmas experience that’s a little different this year? The O’ Holy Nights Chapel Trail is returning this December, transforming chapels and heritage sites across Malta into pockets of festive fun.
On 11th and 12th December, various localities in the eastern region will come alive with Christmas music, traditional Maltese cribs, ceramics, art exhibitions, and plenty of holiday spirit, providing the perfect way to ease into the season.
If you want to experience the full trail in one go, you can jump aboard the Shuttle Vintage Bus, which will be touring all participating chapels and sites. The bus will depart at 18:45 sharp from Pembroke Park & Ride and will return at 23:15 to Pembroke Park & Ride.
The bus will stop at each location along the trail, giving you time to explore the exhibitions and enjoy each performance. Note that children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Here are some highlights to expect along the trail:
Get swept up in the Christmas spirit with this beloved choir performing beautiful seasonal pieces. EnKor will be performing at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on both 11th and 12th December, with 15-minute performances starting at 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00. No booking is required, and all performances are open to the public.
The talented sister duo – known from X Factor Malta Season 3 – will bring their harmonies to the trail on 11th December, adding a touch of Christmas sparkle to Lija. Open to the public, no booking needed.
It wouldn’t be a chapel trail without this iconic Maltese sister duo! Catch The New Victorians on 12th December in Birkirkara as they wrap up the festival with a festive finale.
