Good luck, champ!

While it’s an ordinary Thursday for most of us, it’s quite the big day for young Mikhael. Today is the day that he will be heading to the UK for an important operation to remove his tumour, after being at Mater Dei’s Rainbow Ward for nine months.

Renowned organisation Puttinu Cares shared a message on Facebook. “We’re going to miss you Mikhael! 9 months in the Rainbow Ward. The day for you to go to England for the operation that will remove your tumour has arrived. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish you success and that you return quickly. We’ll pray for you. Lord be with you, sweetheart.”

Earlier this week, Mikhael’s Year 4 class at St Clare College in San Gwann put together a sweet video message of encouragement. “Your class friends and I decided to put together this video to send you best wishes before your operation. We’ve been mentioning you and praying for you everyday so that you’ll be back with us. Have courage and trust in the Lord. Always in our hearts and prayers. We love you!"

We’re rooting for you, Mikhael!
