This ship was given this title by the Guinness World Records.

The majestic Royal Clipper graced the Grand Harbour in Valletta, offering spectators a glimpse of maritime splendour. According to the Guinness World Records, this is the largest rigged ship in the world.

Originally designed as a floating retreat for miners by Polish communist authorities and later transformed into a luxurious cruise ship by Star Clippers Ltd., the Royal Clipper boasts a rich history and impeccable craftsmanship.

Designed by Robert McFarlane and constructed with care at the Gdańsk Shipyard, she underwent extensive renovations to enhance her Mediterranean interior, adorned with exquisite frescography murals by Rainer Maria Latzke.

Inspired by the iconic German windjammer Preussen, the Royal Clipper embodies the spirit of true sailing ships, boasting an impressive 5,202 square meters of sail area.

With her grandeur on full display in Valletta and also Valletta being her port of registry, the Royal Clipper offers unforgettable cruises through the Mediterranean in summer and ventures into the Caribbean's hidden gems during winter, navigating where larger ships cannot tread.
