A modern twist on classical European dishes! Enjoy dinner with a view at Hammett’s Monastik
Hammett’s Monastik is highly sustainable and self-sustaining.
Sliema’s Hammett’s Monastik is a local restaurant that offers a modern continental European dining experience but with a twist.

Apart from offering a modern take on traditional dishes from mainland Europe, this restaurant has views for days on its outside elevated terrace and lounge. You can dine and drink while enjoying the stunning Valletta skyline in all its entirety.

The restaurant also happens to be highly sustainable as the culinary team behind Hammett’s Monastik try to make use of seasonal crops. They also preserve produce for when it’s not in season, as to not waste any unnecessary products.
They source some of their products in house such as vinegar and syrup which is why the restaurant is called, Hammett’s Monastik. The restaurant’s name is influenced from the Roman monasteries that were all self-sufficient.

Hammett’s Monastik has a plates-to-share concept where diners are encouraged to order a variety of plates to share between them instead of just ordering one plate for themselves.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and are open every day. They open their doors at 7:30am and close at 10:30am before opening again at 12pm and closing again at 4pm. They then open for dinner at 6pm with the kitchen closing at 10:30pm.
