Mark your calendars for Saturday 23rd March, as Heritage Malta extends a warm invitation to take part in the exhilarating Freedom Day Regatta and immerse yourself in the vibrant history of Maltese culture and heritage.

This year's festivities slated a week earlier due to Easter Sunday, promise a day filled with engaging activities suitable for the entire family.

Fort St Angelo, with its grandeur and historical significance, will serve as the ideal vantage point to witness the rowing spectacles unfolding in the nearby creek. Moreover, a collaboration with the Sovereign Military Order of Malta offers an unprecedented opportunity for the public to explore the Magistral Palace located within the fort's confines.

Stepping inside the medieval palace, visitors will have the opportunity to go back in time, delving into the legacy of the Grand Masters of the Order of St John, who once called this palace home.

For only 3 euros, this exclusive experience promises an insightful journey into Malta's illustrious past. Furthermore, visitors can opt for the Biennale combo ticket, unlocking additional avenues for exploration and discovery.

Starting from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, the day will be full of activities tailored to entertain and educate attendees of all ages. Highlights include a child-friendly exhibition of swords and arms, a captivating showcase of historical costume-making, an interactive music section, and enthralling storytelling sessions.

Tickets for this experience are available for purchase online via Heritage Malta's official store, as well as at various museums and sites.
