A greener Malta! Four lands meant for apartment buildings to be turned into green spaces instead
They’ll be found right in the heart of four different residential areas.
Four lands that were meant as areas for development and were about to be turned into 30 apartments will now be turned into four different green recreational areas for the public to enjoy.
These four lands and future green areas will be found in St Julian’s, Hal-Luqa, Hal-Kirkop and Hal-Lija.
They will be offering a green space that will only be a short walk away for 7000 families.
The aim is that this kind of project will continue in many other localities. Eventually over 20,000 square metres will be transformed into a recreational area to be enjoyed by many.
For these green spaces they’re planning to regenerate the local and natural biodiversity while making it more accessible and secure to the public.
