A first for Malta! Norwegian Viva cruiseship docks in Valletta’s Grand Harbour for the very first time

The newly operating Norwegian Viva has just made its very first call and docked at the Valletta Cruise Port this last Friday.

It was welcomed by a local village band as it made its way into the Grand Harbour where a traditional plaque exchange was held later on in the day.

The ship is known for having a three-level racetrack, the fastest slides on any cruise ship and a sustainable cocktail bar.

The Norwegian Viva is currently on a nine-day cruise that left from CittaVecchia harbour and will stop at Trieste Italy.

This is the second of six Leanardo-class ships that are a part of the Norwegian Cruise Line’s fleet.
