Caffè Berry, the beloved coffee shop in Valletta, has announced that they are permanently closing down their doors.

As they made the announcement they also took to social media with a sweet message of thanks to all their customers.

“We would love to sincerely thank each of you for the love, support and smiles you have given us every day. From local customers to international visitors, you made every moment unforgettable”, they wrote.

“We would like to continue being your favourite spot, where you can spend time and savour our finest creations”, the team behind Caffè Berry continued.

Although they’re closing down the shop in Valletta this is far from the end of Caffè Berry as they’re planning a new project which will see them expand internationally.

“Now, in our project, we’re piecing together all the phases to express our full potential. The design of this next step requires time, commitment, research, and development to meet our aspiration to internationalize the project”, they wrote.

“We’ve decided that this is a great opportunity and an exciting challenge to create a complete space that can be a corner of the special place for you”, they added to the announcement.

In the meantime, the Sliema shop will also remain temporarily closed, but for the time being Caffè Berry are exploring the possibility of delivery.

Many loyal customers took to the comment section to wish Caffè Berry the best on all future endeavours as they thanked the coffee shop for their amazing service.

Established in 2014, the coffee shop was loved by many for its unique and delicious coffees together with their delectable cakes and snacks.

Will you miss it?
