Salumeria Gardens has strengthened its standing on the international pizza scene after being named the 90th Best Pizza in the World at the 2026 Best Pizza Awards.

The St Julian’s restaurant moved up eight places from last year’s rankings, having secured 98th position in the 2025 edition of the prestigious awards.

The Best Pizza Awards celebrates excellence in pizza-making through a transparent and independent voting system designed to recognise the talent, creativity and dedication of pizza chefs around the world. Free from commercial influence, the awards focus solely on authentic craftsmanship and culinary achievement.

Building on the legacy of The Best Chef Awards, the platform evaluates pizzerias across the globe, from New York and Naples to Dubai and Tokyo, highlighting the diversity, tradition and innovation that define the art of pizza.
