Wow! Music and fireworks to illuminate Sliema this Saturday at Waterflames event

A combination of traditional fireworks, ground fireworks and a pyromusical show will keep everyone entertained!

The sixth edition of the ‘Waterflames’ event, organised by the ‘Madonna tas-Sacro Cuor’ Fireworks Group, will be held this Saturday 6th July. This event promises a musical journey accompanying a spectacular fireworks show, held during the Feast of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at the Sliema Strand.

The programme begins at 10 pm with some traditional fireworks, followed by a pyromusical show at 10.45pm and ground fireworks (known in Maltese as ġigġifogu) closing the night at 11pm.

Waterflames

The pyrotechnic products and ground fireworks are manufactured by St Mary Fireworks Factory of Qrendi, Mount Carmel Fireworks Factory of Żurrieq and Kummissjoni Nar San Pietru fil-Ktajjen of Birżebbugia.
