Exciting news for travel lovers and Malta fans alike! The Maltese Islands have been nominated twice in the prestigious Wanderlust Travel Awards 2025! Malta is in the running for both Most Desirable Country in Europe and Most Desirable Island(s) in Europe, and voting is officially open.

While the double nomination is cause for celebration, it comes as no surprise to those who’ve experienced Malta’s timeless charm. From the sun-drenched shores of Gozo to the ancient streets of Mdina and Valletta, Malta offers a rich blend of culture, history, and natural beauty.

Its warm climate, crystal-clear waters, and mouthwatering local treats, especially the iconic pastizzi, have clearly left a lasting impression on travellers from around the globe.
