The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered one new case of COVID-19 after 1,658 swabs were done in the past 24 hours.
The islands have registered two more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 30,086 and the number of active cases to 68. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,573 cases and has performed 945,642 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours meaning the local death toll remains at 419.
The post also noted that until yesterday, 8th June, 564,718 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 330,970 of these were first doses while 243,252 people are now fully vaccinated.
