This is not for the faint-hearted!

As a professional cliff diver, Robin Goerges travels around the world seeking high cliffs to jump off of. Recently in Morocco and now in Malta, Robin has wasted no time in exploiting the island’s high Northern peaks for a rush of adrenaline.

Taking to his Instagram account to share his spectacular dives, Robin reveals footage from two different spots in Malta, with each clip more breathtaking than the previous.

The first one is from the cliffside surrounding Popeye Village, where he runs off the edge, flips in the air and lands feet first in the water.

The final two videos were both from Comino, and they’re executed from such high altitude that they make Robin’s first jump look like a warm-up. One of the two cliffsides measures around 17m and the other 20m – that’s a staggering five and six storeys respectively!

Robin performs some intense flips and twists on his way down, making it look as easy as a saunter in a green field. Can’t decide if we’re envious of his insane bravado and skill or terrified of those heights!

Necessary reminder – Robin’s trained to land safely, do not try this without instruction!

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
