At the time of her release in Malta, Doris was equipped with a special satellite tracker that allows Nature Trust Malta to monitor her travels and adventures around various coasts.

Since leaving the islands, she has ventured around the Maltese coast and Lampedusa, and has been exploring the southern part of the Med and the North African coast.

Doris ventured a little into unknown territory and found herself on land again in Tunisia, but thanks to Tunisian authorities, she was once again re-released, "after being found in the Kerkennah Islands off the coast of Tunisia, in the Gulf of Gabes,” wrote Nature Trust Malta on Facebook who have been monitoring her situation.
