Malta’s beauty is truly a gift that keeps on giving.

In one of his videos, local vlogger Pierre Farrugia has taken his followers on an adventure to explore the massively stunning Ghar Tuta.

Photographer and drone videographer, Davide joined Pierre and also gave us some incredible drone footage of the beautiful Mellieha terrain.

Simply seeing Ghar Tuta from above is an absolute treat but it’s even that much more worth it to go down and explore it from inside.

As they started going down through the passage at the side, the further down they went, the bigger the cave got.

Whilst they were down there exploring, they came across many small holes that were dug into the ground and looked like shelves. This is a clear indication that people used to live here.

In fact, there are many smaller caves within the huge Ghar Tuta cave in which the many people that lived here before, used as shelter.

The cave is so enormous that even fully grown trees can be found growing within it.

After exploring the beauty of the cave, Pierre and Davide headed to the picturesque window that is commonly referred to as the ‘window that leads to nowhere.’

They followed the path and went down the long stairs that were hand carved with the cliffs themselves.

After taking in the marvellous views overlooking the deep blue Maltese waters, Pierre and Davide headed back up using another set of hand carved stairs just a few metres down.
