Malta was an island booming in the cinematic industry way back when, having multiple cinemas across the island, most of which have unfortunately closed down since. One such cinema is the Alhambra in Sliema where Zara’s stores now stand.

This awesome video shows various shots of the cinema, starting off with the foyer that had a photo shop and a few arcade games. ‘90s goals right there!

According to the guy behind the lens, the seats featured in the video are the original ones and had been there since 1958. The footage also captures two couples in the cinema, showing a sweet moment between the elderly ones who are seen cuddling. Hanini!
