Vroom vroom! Mdina Grand Prix promises thrilling action this weekend, with Le Mans champion Alex Brundle competing
The iconic Malta Classic Grand Prix returns for its 14th edition, bringing exhilarating races just outside the fortified walls of Mdina. This year's edition will be made even more exciting with the participation of Alex Brundle, the British racing driver and 2016 European Le Mans Series Champion. Son of Martin Brundle, best known as a Formula One driver and commentator, Alex will also be racing in this year’s event!
On Saturday, drivers will tackle a challenging track featuring tight bends, sweeping curves, and steep inclines that wind through a scenic valley of vineyards and terraced hills near Mdina and Rabat. Later on, timed drives will be held to determine the starting order for Sunday’s main event.
Sunday promises an adrenaline-fuelled spectacle for drivers and spectators alike. Categorised by speed, power and era, some of the world’s most iconic and coveted cars will compete in an exciting race to the finish. The unforgiving Malta Classic circuit will test the limits of both drivers and their classic racing machines, ensuring a high-stakes experience indeed!
