Viva l-Karnival (tas-Sajf)! Malta’s Summer Carnival returns to Buġibba and Marsaskala this August
Can’t wait until February for your next Carnival fix? You’re in luck – the Summer Carnival is making its colourful return this August, bringing some festive energy to Buġibba and Marsaskala!
From 22nd to 24th August, both seaside towns will come alive with luminous Carnival floats, dancers, and family-friendly entertainment that promises to light up Malta’s summer nights.
The usual laid-back coastal vibes that we associate with summer – think seaside strolls, sizzling BBQs, and warm evenings – will have an added twist of music, movement, and Carnival magic.
On Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd August, the action kicks off in Buġibba, with festivities starting from 7pm onwards. Sunday 24th August will see the Carnival spirit move south to Marsaskala, also starting at 7pm.
Grab your camera, gather your crew (with costumes!), and get ready to dance under the stars!
Will you be there?
