Oh my gosh! If you remember Mario tal-gelat you had a FABULOUS childhood. Mario would go round villages in his Ford Thames van to bring locals some tasty treats.

In true Maltese style, Mario tal-gelat (which translates to Mario the ice-cream man) obviously didn’t solely sell ice-creams. He also offered granitas and was a pastizzeria too! A local legend right there.
