Time to move the clock forward by one hour! Daylight Savings Time starts TODAY
Unfortunately, you got one less hour of sleep last night…

Emma Galea

This is your reminder that Malta has switched to Daylight Savings Time during the night.

As the clock struck 2am this Sunday morning, it actually moved forward by one hour making it 3am. This means you got one hour less of sleep.

Of course, this means that it will be taking much longer for the sun to set since the days start getting longer. In fact, tonight you will be able to enjoy plenty of hours of sunshine as the sun will set at the late hour of 7:19pm.

Daylights savings time will persist up until 27th October 2024, when wintertime re-starts, and our clocks are shifted backwards by an hour once again.

31st March 2024
