Thursday 10th June: 0 deaths, 4 new cases & 5 recoveries for the Maltese Islands

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered four new cases of COVID-19 after 2,123 swabs were done in the past 24 hours. 

The islands have registered two more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 30,091 and the number of active cases to 67. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,577 cases and has performed 947,765 swab tests. Thankfully, no deaths have been registered over the past 24 hours meaning the local death toll remains at 419.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 9th June, 570,513 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 333,197 of these were first doses while 246,964 people are now fully vaccinated.
