30 years ago, Malta saw the opening of its very first Indian restaurant in Sliema, Krishna but this chapter is soon coming to close.

Robert and Kevin Krishna, the owners behind this groundbreaking restaurant in Malta’s restaurant scene have decided to bid farewell.

“After almost 30 years, and having run the oldest Indian restaurant in Malta, Kevin and Robert will no longer be part of Krishna Indian Restaurant”, the restaurant wrote on their Facebook page.

“Now it is time for them to relax, and enjoy their time with their families”.

“We wish to thank everyone who supported us during this journey with your invaluable custom and friendship that has made us thrive over the years. Thank you again to each and everyone”, they continued.

The comment section soon flooded with people thanking the two owners for their continuous stellar service.

Wishing you the best on your retirement!
