After a few days of relatively mild weather, Malta is set to face another period of intense heat in the coming days.
According to the Met Office, temperatures will rise over the next seven days, with the temperature feeling as high as 38°C on Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remaining between 35°C and 37°C for the rest of the week.
There will be night-time lows of 25°C and 26°C.
Winds are expected to stay light throughout the period, generally between Force 2 and 3, shifting direction over the course of the week.
The UV Index will remain at 9 every day, indicating a high risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.
