Commuters travelling to work and around Malta by bus can expect improved services as the latest update from Malta Public Transport includes the addition of extra morning trips to San Gwann Industrial Estate across multiple routes.

The aim is to ease congestion during peak hours and better accommodate workers commuting to this busy industrial hub.

The routes benefiting from the additional trips are: 182, 204, 209, 210, 218, 280, 22, 31, 250, and 260. These enhancements are designed to reduce waiting times and ensure a smoother, more efficient journey for passengers during the morning rush.

In addition to the San Gwann updates, two other popular routes are also getting a boost. Route 83 to Santa Lucija and Route 74 to Zurrieq will see an increase in service frequency, helping to improve connectivity for residents and visitors alike in the southern parts of the island.

These changes reflect ongoing efforts to enhance the reliability and accessibility of public transport in Malta.

Will these changes make any improvements to your daily route?
