Passengers planning to travel between Gozo and Valletta on Friday 17th April are being advised to take note of a temporary service disruption announced by Gozo Highspeed.

The company confirmed that operations at Valletta Port will be suspended for part of the day due to the Voomquest Races, which will require the harbour area to close for safety reasons.

As a result, ferry services will pause before resuming later in the afternoon. The first trip departing from Gozo is scheduled for 15:45, while the first departure from Valletta will take place at 16:45.

Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.

Booking tickets online in advance is also recommended to secure a seat and avoid inconvenience during the disruption period.

Will you be heading to Gozo this weekend?
