Cisk was first introduced to the Maltese public on 3rd August 1929 during the popular feast of San Gejtanu in Hamrun. Those celebrating the feast nearly 90 years ago were the first to treat their taste buds to the bursting flavours of Cisk, in the original bottle.

The label of the original Cisk featured an illustration of the Malta Export Brewery located in an area in Hamrun, which is now part of Santa Venera. The Malta Export Brewery later merged with Simonds Farsons in 1948 and the company became known as Simonds Farsons Cisk which has continued to bring you the best of the original lager, as well as new creations released over the years such as the bevs in the Cisk Chill range, the Excel and my personal favourite, the India Pale Ale.
