Following last year's resounding debut success in Malta, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is set to return to the island, this time to usher in the festive season with a spectacular Christmas Special!

The big band sensation will take the stage at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on December 28th, where they will be whizzing audiences back into the golden era of swing, covering favourites such as ‘Moonlight Serenade’ and ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’.

The band follows one of the pioneers of swing, Glenn Miller, an American big band conductor, arranger, composer, and trombone player. Active before and during World War II, Miller was also an officer in the U.S. Army Air Forces, where he continued to shape the sound of an era.

Continuing his legacy, the Glenn Miller Orchestra provides audiences with the 40s swing experience, both through their swooning sentimental ballads and their energetic covers of the upbeat swing numbers.
