Heritage Malta has just launched a newly revamped website, which aims to create a user-friendly browsing experience for all those who have Malta’s cultural heritage at heart. They even chose the perfect day to launch it - today is the 30th anniversary of the World Wide Web Day!

Mainly designed around visitors who are interested in getting to know more about Heritage Malta’s attractions, the new website is easier to navigate, more user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing and focused on providing easy access to the most important information. And in all honesty, it looks amazing!

So, what’s new?

1. Each Heritage Malta museum and site has a dedicated page which provides updated details about the opening days and hours, together with information about the admission fees.

2. Most of these pages include a location map, 360-degree views of the heritage site, basic information with photos of some of the most renowned artefacts, and a short video of what visitors can see on their tour of this attraction.

3. The new website also opens a window on Heritage Malta’s various conservation labs and the Diagnostic Science Laboratories.

5. A calendar of activities listing all Heritage Malta’s exhibitions and events, with easy access to online booking.

6. For those who are interested to support the Agency, there is also a segment dedicated to membership, partnerships and sponsorships.

A word from the Acting CEO

Heritage Malta Acting Chief Executive Officer, Noel Zammit, said that it was a significant achievement for the Agency to succeed in changing its website. He explained that although the website still provides information about Heritage Malta and its work, in reality it is mostly a visitor-centric website since it was created around the interests and needs of its users. He invited the public to access this website to learn more about the extensive cultural heritage of our country.
