Get ready to make unforgettable memories at Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum in Valletta! On Friday, 14th June, this historic site will come alive during special extended hours from 7 pm to 12 am (last admission at 11:30 pm), offering a unique experience that blends history and entertainment.

This special evening event features re-enactors who will bring Malta's rich history to life, allowing you to travel back in time through different epochs. Live ambient music will enhance the atmosphere, immersing you in the eras depicted throughout the site.

Under the stars, you will get to wander through the impressive grounds of the fort, marvel at the stunning architecture of the two chapels dedicated to St Anne, and explore seven sections of the National War Museum, which cover 7,000 years of Maltese military history.

Key artefacts on display include the Gloster Sea Gladiator N5520 FAITH, the Willys Jeep ‘Husky’ used by both Eisenhower and Roosevelt, and Malta’s George Cross for gallantry. Additionally, you can explore the Harbour Fire Command complex at the top of this magnificent star-shaped fort.

The event is accessible at a special reduced price of €5 per person and is free for children up to 11 years old and Heritage Malta members (membership card required). Student and Senior Passports are not applicable for this event. Skip-the-line tickets are also available online at the same price starting two days before the event at the Heritage Malta Store. Food and drinks will be available for purchase onsite.
