Spectacular Cirque du Soleil will perform 28 shows specifically created for Malta this year!
As we announced back in March, the Cirque du Soleil troupe are coming to Malta live and in the flesh later this year, to perform a series of shows for three consecutive years - and it's all been confirmed by the Malta Tourism Authority!
The Cirque du Soleil crew will be tumbling, flying and flipping their way through 28 shows over six consecutive weeks starting from 27th November till 20th December. The troupe will be putting on shows from Tuesday through to Sunday, with two shows per day on the weekends.
And it has now been announced that the name of the performance will be Vitori, a show that will be tailor-made for Malta and centred around a chess team. The brand new show will be performed exclusively in Malta for the duration of the three years.
Daniel Fortin, the group’s vice-president said that they were thrilled to bring the troupe to Malta for the very first time in Cirque history. “The performance is created exclusively for Malta,” and will be presented at the prestigious Mediterranean Conference Centre.
We can't wait!
