MaltaPost is marking the upcoming festive season with the release of two beautifully crafted philatelic issues; one celebrating the magic of Santa Claus and his lively reindeer, and another honouring the timeless story of the Nativity.

This year’s Christmas collection features 10 delightful stamps, each valued at €0.45. Designed by artist Fabio Agius, the stamps capture Santa and his nine reindeer as they embark on their enchanting journey across the globe, bringing joy to people of all ages.

Printed by Printex Ltd using the offset method, each 35mm x 35mm stamp appears on sheets of 10, measuring 203mm x 98mm. A total of 300,000 stamps have been produced for this issue.

Complementing the cheerful Christmas set is a more contemplative release dedicated to the Nativity - a theme deeply rooted in Maltese culture and religious tradition. MaltaPost is issuing two stamps featuring evocative paintings by Gozitan artist Pawlu Camilleri Cauchi.

The €0.45 stamp shows the shepherds’ humble visit to the newborn Jesus, based on the artwork housed at the Parish Church of the Assumption in Qrendi. The €1.50 stamp portrays the arrival of the three Magi, inspired by the painting found in the Sacro Cuor Parish Church in Sliema. Photography for both pieces was provided by Mark Micallef Perconte.

Both festive stamp collections will be available at all Post Offices in Malta and Gozo starting 20th November 2025. Collectors may also place orders online at maltaphilately.com or through the Philatelic Bureau at MaltaPost.
