A well-loved restaurant in Gozo, Ta' Philip Restaurant, has officially announced its permanent closure, effective May 2025. The news was shared via a heartfelt message on the restaurant’s social media channels, marking the end of an era for one of the island’s most cherished dining spots.

In the announcement, owner Philip expressed deep gratitude to the restaurant’s loyal guests, reflecting on the meaningful moments shared over the years. ‘It has been our privilege to serve this community and be part of so many meaningful moments,’ the message read. ‘We are sincerely grateful for your patronage, trust, and support throughout our journey.’

Philip also extended his appreciation to the dedicated team behind the scenes, acknowledging their essential role in building and sustaining the restaurant’s reputation. ‘Their hard work and commitment played a vital role in everything we achieved,’ he said.

Known for its authentic Gozitan cuisine, warm atmosphere, and focus on locally sourced ingredients, Ta' Philip earned a special place in the hearts of both locals and visitors.

‘We are proud of what we built together and will always be grateful for the relationships and memories formed along the way,’ the message concluded.
