Say what?! Has the lost city of Atlantis been hiding under the Maltese Islands all this time?
We’re not kidding…

Jillian Mallia

The lost city of Atlantis, which is said to have sunk after a huge earthquake, may have just been found under our very islands. The mythical city first described by Plato may have been right under our noses all along – quite literally!

What the experts say

Experts claim that the the Maltese Islands could very well be the true location of Atlantis. Uwejja, bis-serjeta?! It's true! A recent documentary looks into the evidence that suggests our islands are actually the high points of what was once one land, many centuries ago.

The documentary

A recent documentary on Amazon Prime, Proof That Left Historians Speechless, reveals that Malta may be unknowingly hiding one of the biggest secrets known to mankind. We were already convinced that our islands could very well be Atlantis, but this documentary could be all the proof we need!

The documentary claims that a number of islands in the area broke away thousands of years ago from the mainland following destructive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. According to Plato, this island, presumably called Atlantico, then suffered another volcanic eruption and was submerged under the sea, forming the lost city of Atlantis that so many have searched far and wide for. So, the Maltese Islands as we know them today could possibly be what remains of the once magnificent city of Atlantis!

What do you think of this theory? Fact or fiction?
