Reminder! Valletta ferry services to Gozo & Three Cities to end early on Friday 25th April due to Fireworks Festival
If you were planning on hopping aboard the Gozo Highspeed or Valletta ferry services to or from the Three Cities today (Friday 25th April), you’ll want to double-check the schedule.
As part of the preparations for the Malta International Fireworks Festival, services from Valletta to the Three Cities will be ending earlier than usual today and on Wednesday 30th April. The Valletta ferry to Sliema will operate as usual, as the festival will impact the Grand Harbour only, and not Marsamxett Harbour.
The last trips will take place in the early afternoon, allowing the Grand Harbour to be cleared ahead of the evening’s dazzling display.
For the Gozo Highspeed service, the last trip from Mgarr Harbour (Gozo) departing at 12:45, and the last trip from Valletta leaving at 13:45. The last ferry to the Three Cities will also be departing at 13:45.
If you're planning to attend the show, or just heading home, you’re advised to plan ahead and make alternative transport arrangements for the evening.
Enjoy the show!
