Rainy days ahead! Isolated showers and thunderstorms set to hit Malta & Gozo later this week
Wednesday to Friday is set to be dominated by rain!

Following a wet and dreary weekend, it doesn’t look like the weather is going to get any better this week in Malta as we’re gearing up for more rainy weather in the upcoming days.

Although today and Tuesday 27th February are looking fairly pleasant with the weather expected to be only partly cloudy, according to Maltese Islands Weather, the forecast predicts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday to be dominated by rain, rain, and more rain!

While there is a slight glimmer of hope for improvement over the weekend, with a possibility of reduced rainfall, the outlook remains predominantly cloudy. Despite the potential for some breaks in the clouds, the overall atmosphere is expected to remain damp and unsettled.

This shift in weather patterns signals a notable change from the typically sunny and dry conditions that Malta had over the last couple of weeks.

While the maximum temperature is fairly high for Tuesday 27th February, going up to 21°C, it will fall back down again throughout the week, steadying at 17°C to 18°C. The minimum temperature is set to fall to 11°C, feeling as low as 6°C on Thursday 29th February.

Windy conditions are also set to persist throughout the week, with the wind blowing at around Force 4-5 on most days this week.

Whether seeking shelter in cosy cafes or exploring indoor attractions, there are still plenty of ways to make the most of Malta's charm despite the damp weather ahead.

Are you looking forward to the rainy weather?
