Taking to social media, Equlibrium Malta veterinary services wrote about one of its newest patients, BunBun.

Poor BunBun was found paralysed and abandoned in a field a few months ago by a certain David Debono. Despite the rabbit's health challenges, David has lovingly attended to BunBun's every need - going as far as bathing him daily in light of his urinary incontinence.

Equilibrium Malta takes a slightly different approach to your run-of-the-mill veterinary care by integrating conventional veterinary medicine and surgery with ‘complimentary medical modalities’.

Speaking about his practice, vet Zoran Jankovic says that his “approach to holistic medicine is to treat pets as ‘whole’, as sentient creatures, rather than merely treating a particular illness.”

In light of this, Equilibrium Malta is working on improving BunBun’s condition through the use of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

A few images of the rabbit shared to social media show him undergoing acupuncture treatment during his first session, held earlier today.

“We are rooting for you, BunBun,” Equilibrium Malta wrote on social media.

Get well soon!
