Out now! Alex Camilleri’s Żejtune in cinemas until Tuesday
Żejtune will be shown at the Eden, Embassy and Citadel cinemas

Żejtune, the long-awaited homegrown film centred out the traditional Maltese għana is out now in cinemas across Malta and Gozo.

The film, directed by Alex Camilleri, will be shown at the Eden Cinemas in St Julian’s and at the Embassy in Valletta until Tuesday 14th April, and at the Citadel Cinema in Gozo until Sunday 12th.

Żejtune revolves around a young Maltese woman, played by Michela Farrugia, who is intent on leaving Malta until a chance meeting with a għana singer, played by veteran għana singer Nenu Borg, sparks a newfound love for her country.
